We’re excited to announce a new, separate company we have formed that will focus entirely on ceiling systems for hospitals and other critical environments: AJ Ceilings.
As we have continued to develop our ceiling systems over the years, we have experienced tremendous growth in this part of our business. Today, we are a true leader in the industry, offering three distinct and 100% customizable ceiling systems that can meet virtually any need – including both new construction and retrofit projects.
Forming a new company allows us to focus on the ceiling market, while not being distracted from our core business in any way. AJ Ceilings has its own staff and its own space in our recently opened 55,000-square-foot second location in Kansas City. We have hired key industry veterans to lead the new company, with extensive experience in the critical environment ceiling market, and with specialized knowledge in designing and manufacturing ceiling systems.
Our ceiling systems were a natural extension for AJ Manufacturing, since so many of our air filtration and distribution products were already being used extensively in hospital operating rooms, pharmaceutical manufacturing plants, laboratories and other buildings where clean air is essential. Now we can offer a “one stop shop”, providing a complete package from a single source – which simplifies and speeds the construction process, while also reducing costs.
Our current product line includes three unique ceiling system choices, offering a custom solution to meet any need:
- SS-CARES is a heavy-duty, structural system that can accommodate a wide range of suspended equipment and lighting, and comes with stamped, structural calculations.
- SSORS is a modular, customizable air distribution and lighting solution engineered to provide both clean air and high-quality lighting.
- Our suspended ceiling grid systems can accommodate all necessary equipment in applications where ceiling access is required.
