Patient isolation rooms keep people safe from airborne contaminants.

At a time when more and more headlines are concerned with devastating viral outbreaks, mutating super bugs and other frightening health risks, we here at AJ Manufacturing are proud of the part we play in keeping people safe from airborne diseases every day. That’s because our clean air distribution products can be found in surgical suites, critical care and patient care environments at hospitals around the U.S. and abroad.

Our latest success story: Reverse Flow Criti-Clean Fan Powered Laminar Flow HEPA Filter Diffusers used in new patient isolation rooms at the University of Michigan Health System. Often simply called the University of Michigan Hospital, this facility is one of the largest health care complexes in the world, and has been the site of many groundbreaking medical and technological advancements since it first opened in 1850. It makes sense that the hospital administrators would turn to a leader in critical care air distribution like AJ Manufacturing to help them with their new isolation room construction projects.

Our Reverse Flow Criti-Clean FFU unit is designed to create a negative pressure environment that removes the air from an isolation room and cleans it through the built in HEPA filter — stopping airborne contaminants from leaving the room. The Reverse Flow Criti-Clean also shares the other great features of our standard Criti-Clean Units, including…

  • Stainless steel construction with all-welded plenum
  • Higher CFM output than competitive models
  • Computer-controlled, variable-speed ECM motor
  • HEPA or ULPA filter with gel-seal frame
